Some animals can carry disease that can be transferred into human’s body. It is called zoonotic disease. We still remember about the rabies, anthrax, avian influenza and recently the swine flu that have killed so many people. Usually those diseases attack the human who have the more risk than other, such as pregnant women, infants, elder people or even the pet health care workers who keep in touch with the infected animal. It can cause the abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever and even human’s death. That is why animals, included our pet, need the health concerns to prevent this accident.
There is a certificate of family of a pet containing the information about family pedigree, health and other information to guarantee its preeminence. This certificate is needed before we buy some pets. So we can know the best pet which we will bring home. With those preventions, we can help our family from suffering the disease.
It is a big concern of World Health organization (WHO) to prevent and cure the zoonotic diseases. At least, we have to concern about the pet’s health inside our house. We can find the detailed information about these zoonotic diseases from public health department, veterinarian and even internet. So beware to our pet.
